Melissa is a lifelong resident of south Arkansas. Born and raised in Magnolia, Melissa graduated from Magnolia High School in 2001. She is a 2017 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a degree in Marketing.
Melissa is the current secretary for the Columbia County Literacy Council, Secretary for the Columbia County Single Parent Scholarship Fund, and is the Director of the serving line for the Magnolia Blossom Festival.
Melissa has one son, Connor Ludwig, who is currently attending Southern Arkansas University. Her hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, crafting, and spending time with her pets.
